delonix drift

What the MACHINE changed since the last apply — the whole stack.

stack plan answers «what would an apply do», which mixes the edits someone just made to the FILE with the edits someone made to the NODE. This drops the manifest from the comparison and keeps the two faces that belong to the node: the spec stamped on each resource when it was last applied, and what it looks like now. The manifest is OPTIONAL — on a node without the repo this still answers, and says out loud which Kinds it could not enumerate without the file. A resource with no stamp is not drift: it is a third state, named and counted.

Usage: delonix drift [OPTIONS]

Options:
  -f, --file <FILE>
Manifest to read (default: `./delonix-manifest.yaml` if present)

      --l18n <en|pt>
Output language: `en` (default) or `pt` (Portuguese, pt_AO). Also settable via `$DELONIX_L18N`. Global — works before any subcommand

      --stack <STACK>
Only this stack's resources (default: every stack on this node)

  -o, --output <OUTPUT>
          Output format: `table` (default) or `json` (ADR-0005)

          [default: table]
          [possible values: table, json]

      --detailed-exitcode
Exit 2 when there IS drift (0 = none, 1 = error) — the `terraform plan -detailed-exitcode` contract, for a CI drift gate

  -h, --help
Print help (see a summary with '-h')

EXAMPLES:
  # what the machine changed since the last apply, every stack
  delonix drift

  # one stack only
  delonix drift --stack shop

  # a CI gate: exit 2 means something moved outside the manifest
  delonix drift --detailed-exitcode
